Bio – Iris & Rob

Iris and Rob first crossed paths in the vibrant jam session scene of Amersfoort, where it quickly became clear that they share a deep passion for jazz, samba, and pop.

Born and raised in California, Iris moved to the Netherlands at the age of twelve. With both parents rooted in the music world, she inherited a natural sense of expression, which shines through in her lyrical interpretation and effortless timing.

Rob studied jazz guitar at the Conservatory of Groningen, where he developed a distinctive fingerpicking style that allows him to seamlessly weave together bass, chords, and melody. Playing on a seven-string jazz guitar, he creates the rich sound of an entire band all on his own.

Together, Iris’ warm and colorful voice blends beautifully with Rob’s crystal-clear guitar tone. Their performances are full of interplay and improvisation, ensuring that every concert is a fresh and unforgettable experience.
